Heating, fan, door and control faults in domestic ovens.
Our oven repairs cover ovens that won’t heat, uneven temperatures, and fan, thermostat, sensor, control, door, hinge and damaged-glass faults, as well as ovens that trip the electrics. The engineer tests the symptoms before deciding whether an element, fan or control is to blame.
Stop using an oven with cracked or loose door glass, exposed or damaged wiring, a burning smell, or one that keeps tripping the electrics. If you smell gas, don’t use any switches or flames: leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
Tell us which cavity, shelf, function or control is affected and when the problem happens. We confirm the fuel type and model before the visit, so we can check the work is within scope and send a suitably qualified engineer.
Major appliance brands
We check your model and the fault before confirming the visit.

01 / Find the fault
The same symptom can have several causes, so the engineer confirms the fault before recommending a repair.
A failed element, thermostat or sensor, or a wiring or control fault, can all stop an appliance heating.
A noisy fan or uneven cooking can come from the fan itself or from a part that affects how it runs.
Worn hinges, catches or seals, or a door out of alignment, affect both safety and performance.
Tell us the symptoms, any error code and when the problem started so we can assess the repair properly.
A few details help us check the repair is suitable and help your engineer come prepared.
Note any error codes, unusual sounds and when the fault began. A photo of the model label also helps.
Don’t keep using an appliance that leaks, overheats, trips the electrics, smells of burning or has damaged glass.
Mention cabinetry, stairs, parking or tight spaces. Please don’t pull out a heavy or integrated appliance yourself.
02 / Know the cost
Your online quote covers the labour. Any model-specific part is priced separately, so you see both costs before deciding.
Based on the appliance, installation and postcode you enter, and shown before we ask for any contact details.
Any replacement part is explained and priced separately. We use genuine or OEM parts wherever possible.
Age, condition, part availability and the total cost all help decide whether repair or replacement is the better option.
Built-in ovens, freestanding units and range-style appliances each have different fixings, supplies and access needs. Mention any cabinetry, plinths, steps or narrow routes, and please don’t remove the appliance yourself.
The fixed quote covers diagnosis and repair labour. Elements, fans, sensors, thermostats, controls and door parts are priced separately before fitting, using genuine or OEM parts wherever possible. The condition of the oven cavity, its age and the total cost all help decide between repair and replacement.
You’ll know where things stand at every step, from booking the visit to deciding on any parts.
We offer same-day or next-day appointments whenever an engineer is available in your area.
Certified technicians arrive in stocked vans, carrying the tools and commonly needed parts for domestic appliance repairs.
We use genuine or OEM parts wherever possible. If the right part is on the van, the repair can be finished on the same visit.

Common questions
Answers on pricing, suitability and common faults before you book.
You’ll see a fixed labour quote online before you book, covering the diagnosis and repair. Elements, fans and thermostats are priced separately, and no part is fitted until you approve the cost.
An oven that trips the electrics may have a failing element, damaged wiring or another electrical fault. Stop using it, leave it switched off and tell us when the trip happens so we can confirm the repair is suitable.
It depends on the oven’s age and condition and the cost of the parts. If the oven is old, the cavity is damaged or the parts would cost close to a new oven, the engineer will recommend replacing it. Otherwise they’ll explain the repair cost so you can decide.
